Howdy, Mustang Wranglers! Saddle up for the 46th Annual Western Days Stampede!
Yee-haw! Little broncos (1st–8th grade) race a fun 1-mile while the big folks tackle the open 5K. This year’s theme, Red, White, & Boots, brings patriotic western fun for the whole family—all benefiting Mustang High School Cross Country teams through the Mustang Pacesetters Booster Club.

- 5K Stampede: Friday, September 11, 2026, 7:00 PM – Wild Horse Park (certified course, medals for top age-group finishers).
- Kids’ Stampede: Saturday, September 12, 2026 – Mustang High School Stadium. Arrive 15 minutes early! Medals for top boys & girls + free kids sundae for elementary & intermediate finishers (courtesy of Sonic!)
7:00 AM 7th & 8th Grade 7:15 AM 6th Grade 7:30 AM 5th Grade 7:50 AM 4th Grade 8:10 AM 3rd Grade 8:30 AM 2nd Grade 8:50 AM 1st Grade - Registration: $20 kids (shirt if pre-registered by September 2nd), $30 for 5K. Online via Eventbrite preferred. Paper forms available from school PE teachers (due Wed, September 2nd). Late entries at Chili Cook-Off (Fri 6–8 PM) or race day (no shirt guarantee). No refunds.
- Packet Pickup: Fri, Sep 11 (6–8 PM at Town Center during Chili Cook-Off) or Sat, Sep 12 (from 6:30 AM at stadium north entrance).
- Safety: No adults on the kids’ course. Park south/west of Town Center for 5K; north entrance for kids’ races.
